Keep copies of your original images

PROMPTit Best practices

Replace features remove the original image from the product, so back up important photos first.

Upscale, Magic Eraser, Enhance Blurry Images and Remove/Replace Backgrounds replace each matching image: the original is removed from the product and the new image takes its place. PROMPTit has no undo button.

  • Keep the original photo files from your photographer or supplier in a folder or cloud drive.
  • For products without local copies, download the images from the product page in Shopify admin before the task runs.
  • Use a precise Condition Prompt and a low Maximum Images to Process so only images that need work are touched.

Generate Lifestyle Images only adds images, so it never removes an original.
