Run a task now or schedule it for later

PROMPTit Scheduling & automation

Choose Add to queue now or pick a date and time in your local time zone.

On Review and Submit, the Scheduling Options card asks Select when you want this task to run:

  • Add to queue now — the task joins the processing queue right away and usually starts shortly.
  • Schedule this task to run later — pick a Date and Time. The default is one hour from now.

When you schedule, PROMPTit confirms Task will run at: … (your local time). The time must be in the future, otherwise you see Scheduled time must be in the future.

Scheduled tasks appear in History with the Scheduled status until they start. Scheduling is handy for running big catalogs overnight or right after a new collection goes live.
