Use the save bar on settings steps, and continue an unsaved draft later in the same browser.
When you change settings on Configure Product Settings or Image Generation Settings, Shopify's save bar appears at the top of the admin.
- Click Save to keep your changes, or Discard to undo them.
- Until you do, Next Step shows: You have unsaved changes. Please save or discard your changes to continue to the next step.
- Saving also stores a draft of the task in your browser.
If you leave and come back, New Task shows You have an unsaved draft from … with Continue Draft or Start Fresh. Drafts live in the browser you used, so they do not follow you to another computer.
